Minute By Minute

202306090319 Plane tickets say I’m leaving the United States on June 19th and arriving in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India around 9:15pm three days later. On the way I get to visit Toronto,  Dubai,  and Mumbai. Looking forward to returning to the place that captured my heart so many years ago when I first went as an Agape Student. More on that here… Thinking of the years between visits to MJC and I come up sorely lacking. Years of bad decisions. Years of my will not His. Years we’ll never get back. Time Time Time. Lost opportunity to serve Him more […]

Tourist Visa

Yesterday I received the approval notification for my India Tourist Visa.  This approval grants me access to the country for a maximum of 180 days in any calendar year over the next 5 years. That is probably about as long as anyone can put up with me anyway, so a good number 😉  I addition to this visa I also have to bring my passport. This proves I am a citizen of the United States. You are required to take it and the visa wherever you visit while in the country.  That’s how this world looks at it, the world […]

Beautiful Feet

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7  NLT As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:15b  NIV Smelly, painful at times, cold often, but never called beautiful, my feet are pretty average. Almost 10,000 steps today but not beautiful. They do an admirable job of plodding this body along. But not beautiful. My hope is that soon (in HIS time) they might take on a […]

Chief Chairman Chaplain Neighbor

CHIEF I’ve had quite a few titles in my life. The first one of significance was Chief. After completion of US Army Helicopter Flight School (towards the end of the Vietnam war) I was promoted to Warrant Officer.  After a few years of experience I was once again promoted to Chief Warrant Officer in the late 1970’s.  So my first title was Chief. CHAIRMAN After the military, I went into the information technology business and started a few software companies. Two of them were notable, Sysops and Nsite. I shared a partner in both of them who was incredibly patient […]

A View of MJC from Heaven

I wonder what the Michael Job Centre looks like from heaven. Does it look like this to God? This image is from a Google Maps satellite image. See it for yourself here: https://www.google.com/maps/@11.0376867,77.1160654,236m/data=!3m1!1e3 Or does he see the hearts and souls living there first? I’m certain those are much more important to Him than these structures. These buildings will turn to dust and rubble soon enough but the hundreds of souls here (invisible to our eyes in this image) are crystal clear to God. He says He loves everyone of them and I believe Him. How much? Well if you […]

Salvation Comes

January 22 2009 We have been spending a lot of time in prayer and fasting over the last few days. Sunday was a day of real confession, repentance and turning to God for many of the older girls. The Holy Spirit is clearly working here. Today, groups of girls approached my top programmer asking how they can be saved. He told them the Good News. Several are new creatures in Christ. Two of the older girls came over to my office tonight and although I have been pretty silent the past few days after losing my voice, I was able […]
